ÏO Justice is a young and promising LegalTech company founded in Mexico in 2021 with the main purpose to improve access to justice through digital solutions. It develops digital products, such as online platforms, AI tools and online courses, as well as consults and educates on use and application of LegalTech solutions. We’re very proud to support ÏO Justice’s big ambitions, pursuing such a great cause as to democratise justice through sustainable means.
Guidance | Strategy and Program development: ÏO Justice is able to make a big impact with a small team, but that requires focused work and especially co-operation. We worked together to devise a clear operational strategy from their vision and mission. From the strategy, we set-up a program that set out the different projects: pro-bono vs commercial, divided into their main buckets of work: education, consulting and service/product development.

Advisory & Interim | Business case development: ÏO Justice’s core qualities are legal and IT expertise. When it comes to business operational topics they often check in with us to support in development of business cases and business models for their products. In such cases we might simply advise or take on the leg work to assure the team has good, sustainable documentation and insights.
“While most players in legaltech focus on business models for private enterprises, our work is primarily geared toward courts, NGOs, and lawyers. For this, sustainable strategies are essential, as many justice innovators around the world rely heavily on altruistic support to survive. Toon has been instrumental in helping us articulate sustainable business and commercial strategies, and in guiding us to better understand and pursue and maintain a self-sufficient company that takes great care of its people while being a trusted partner to its stakeholders.”

Carver Europe B.V. was an innovative Dutch designer and seller of three-wheeled, light electric vehicles, carrying the same name. Founded in 2019, it enjoyed appeal from consumers, due to their vehicles’ small size and fun driving experience. Unfortunately, heavy weather and a slower than expected market growth forced them out of business. We’re proud to have worked with this pioneering brand and hope they’ll find their way to a well-deserved restart.
Interim | Interim Supply Chain Manager: The General Manager was double hatting and asked for support in leading the externalisation of their spare parts warehousing to a third party. The project was part of their larger program aimed at reducing operational costs, and required someone who could deliver fast and accurately.
After a successful month-and-a-half came the question to step in and take on the full position for Supply Chain Manager. We took on the management of daily operations and took the lead for developing the roadmap for developing Carver’s supply chain scale-up, that was to facilitate the projected growth.
Unfortunately, hard times kicked in soon after, requiring us to focus on enduring crisis management to keep operations going while we battled with severe volatility. We saw what was likely to happen, yet we stayed on until the last moment, fighting for a chance to survive. We hope they’ll make a strong re-appearance on the market soon.

Dolmans Facility Management was already an established player in the Dutch market, yet they were able to reinvent themselves which spurred them into a new growth spurt. Their main goal is to allow their customers to do their best work, by providing them with surprisingly good solutions to optimize their work environment. Not only are we proud to be part of their journey, it’s also great to work with a client who’s vision and mission are so closely related to ours.
Guidance | Growth strategy workshop: Dolmans’ management team reach out when they recognised that their strong growth was taking going to start testing the limits of their operational model. They wanted to regroup to discuss ways to scale their operations to oblige their current growth and future ambitions.
We were asked to guide the team during a full day workshop during which we’d refresh their look on their vision, mission and create a platform for forming of their operational growth strategy. strategy.
For the core element of the workshop, exploring their operational growth strategy, we ran a Wardley Mapping exercise. This allowed us to straight forwardly map their current state of their value chain and to explore strategic areas of development. At the end of the workshop the team had a clear and intuitive overview of their areas of development and their relative priorities according to their shared vision and mission, and the maturity and promise of their services and operations.

Drumschool Jens, our first and very precious client. A place where you can study drums, and can explore yourself via coaching, supported by the drum kit as a therapeutic instrument. We’ve long been impressed with Jens’ vision of what empathic teaching and creative use of instrumentalism can bring to people’s lives.
It brings us great pride to say that our co-operation has been rewarding for both of us and we can’t wait to see where we’ll journey to next.
Guidance | Strategy and program development: Jens asked us to join him on two big programs to move his business into a new era.
Project Teaching Buddha started when Jens reached his five year anniversary, had successfully established his school and wanted to take it to the next level. He had many ideas, but no idea where to start, so he asked us to support defining his development plan.
As he had lots of ideas already, we focused on clarity to facilitate his decision making and planning. We went through three phases:
Mapping | we started by capturing Jens’ ideas in one overview, structuring his vision and concrete theme’s.
Conceptualising | we made business cases for all ideas to test its feasibility, viability and relative desirability.
Planning | then, prioritisation and designing the program was simple. Jens then took his program and executed it with trust.
Project Big Worm aimed at stabilising cash flow while at the same time launching new services into his portfolio.
Once more we cut the work into three pieces:
Ideation | we explored causes for cash flow volatility and drew up some subscription scenarios that could create more stability and predictability for his cash-in.
Conceptualising | we modelled each scenario to review their impact, leading to a preference for a hybrid model, still allowing flexibility when needed.
Planning and Execution | we drafted 3-month roll-out plan to gradually transfer students upon completing pre-paid lessons, while managing the school’s administrative workload for initiating the contracts.
